DREW, WALTER EDWARD 1906–1974

Sworn in as a probationary constable June 1927, Walter (Ted) Drew was a delegate to conference, treasurer 1946–1960 and alternate representative on the Crown Employees Appeal Board until 1961 when he was promoted to rank of inspector.  Drew was an outstanding treasurer widely admired for his ability and honesty. He retired in January 1965 with the rank of inspector 1st class. He died on 8 November 1974.
