Marcus (Mark) Kelly served 10 years as a member of the Country Executive between 1956 and 1967 and 16 years as a delegate to annual conference. He was known for his public speaking ability. He also served as commander of the Australian police contingent in Cyprus from May 1974 to June 1975. Attested in 1940, he retired in December 1977 with the rank of inspector 1st class. He died on 24 March 1993.
