Mchardy_CliffClifford (Cliff) Mc Hardy served as chairman and delegate of the Lithgow and Parkes Branches from 1963–1975 and was a member of the Country Executive for 9 years. Cliff was known for his sporting prowess in athletics, rowing, rugby union and especially rugby league for which he was a player and later a broadcaster and 1st grade referee. Cliff joined the police cadets in March 1943 and was sworn in 4 years later on 17 March 1947. He retired on 15 June 1985 with the rank of superintendent. He passed away on 7 October 2017
