Robert (Bob) Pritchard began his involvement with the Police Association at branch level in 1994. In 1998 he attended conference as a delegate and in 2000 was elected to the Executive. In 2004 he became the Association’s 18th President. In 2010 he retired from the presidency and the NSW Police Force with the rank of sergeant. In his years as president, Bob worked closely with the Executive to bring about much needed change to many aspects of police workplace conditions including pay, the delivery of Tasers, improved equipment for frontline police, death and disability benefits and the raising of the Association’s profile and influence. He also oversighted a major renovation of the Association’s offices and a major staff restructure.
