Archibald (Arch) Willis served as chairman, councillor and delegate of the Eastern Suburbs Branch from 1968–1978. In 1970 he was elected to the Executive and from 1978–1983 served as a trustee. As a trustee he was involved with the sale and purchase of the Police Association premises at that time and with financial legal assistance to members. He was also an avid supporter of the amalgamation of the Commissioned Police Officers Association with the Police Association. Sworn in on 10 August 1953, Arch retired on 11 February 1990 with the rank of chief inspector. He passed away on 20 August 2019.
