EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST - Provision of Legal Services

The Police Association of NSW (PANSW) maintains a panel of solicitors who provide services for our members through a Financial Legal Assistance Scheme. The PANSW is inviting Expressions of Interest from individuals or legal firms with experience in providing legal representation and services consistent with the requirements of this Scheme.

Interested parties should forward details of:

  • Qualifications;
  • Background and experience, including recent clients, if possible;
  • Specific knowledge of and expertise in Police-related matters, including:
    • Police Act 1990,
    • Police Regulation (Superannuation) Act 1906,
    • Law Enforcement Conduct Commission Act 2016,
    • Workers Compensation Act 1987 and Workplace Injury Management & Workers Compensation Act 1998,
    • Crimes Act 1900,
    • Coroners Act 1980, and
    • Industrial Relations Act 1996,
  • Expertise in the various jurisdictions dealing with the above listed, and any other Acts pertinent to the policing profession; and
  • Referees.

Expressions of Interest should be returned by COB Friday, 20 October 2017 and addressed to:
