This is a story about a cop who went to the doctor’s one day and got bad news. Some of it may be relatable. Some of it may be foreign.

It’s a story about a 22-year-old cop who was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and then, 17 years later, underwent a bone marrow/stem cell transplant.

What a radical idea to treat MS with the same approach as leukemia. More importantly, it’s about the challenges of dealing with both physical and mental illness in the job.
