NSW Police Legacy: Knowles Family Appeal

Injury and illness can strike anyone, including our members. When it does, the effects run deep throughout the whole police family.

In early May, Det. Snr. Constable Damien Knowles was diagnosed with cancer. Damien received the news no one wants to hear - after months of testing, his diagnosis is worse than first expected. His oncologist informed him that he has incurable cancer of the biliary duct near his pancreas.

Damien is 39 years old and has been married for 10 years to Krystle, together they have two young daughters Indi, aged 9 and Maya, aged 6.

Our charity partner, NSW Police Legacy has set up an appeal to assist Det. Snr. Constable Damien Knowles and his family through this difficult time. Show your support by donating or sharing the link https://knowlesfamilyappeal.gofundraise.com.au/
