Service to mark 1st Anniversary of the passing of Sergeant Geoffrey Richardson

On Saturday, 5 March 2016, Sergeant Geoffrey Richardson was attempting to provide assistance to his colleagues involved in a long-running pursuit when his police vehicle left the road and collided with a tree.

As a result Geoffrey passed away at the scene leaving behind his wife Senior Constable Margaret Richardson (Nee King) and their two boys, Patrick and Aiden.

To mark the anniversary a service arranged by Richo’s colleagues at Port Stephens LAC and the PANSW is being held.
