The Police Association of New South Wales (PANSW) has congratulated Paul Scully, Member for Wollongong and Shadow Minister for Planning and Public Spaces, on the news he will hold the Police Minister portfolio in the reshuffled Shadow Ministry announced by NSW Labor Leader Chris Minns.

“Congratulations to Paul on his appointment to the Police portfolio,” PANSW President Kevin Morton said, “Continuing our strong relationship with the NSW Labor Opposition, I look forward to working together to continue protecting and advocating for the interests of the men and women of the NSW Police Force.

“As the Member for Wollongong and with his history, I have confidence that Paul will be uniquely positioned to respond to the needs of frontline responders right across our state.”

“Through his work prior to NSW Parliament, Mr. Scully was instrumental in establishing the Federal Parliamentary Friends of Policing.  We look forward to his continued support for the tireless work police do across New South Wales.”
